David Breland

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Celebration of life service for David will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Calvin Hubbard will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

He was a member of Barksdale Baptist Church. David had a passion for baseball and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren, Emily-Anna and Zack.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Breland, mother, Wilma Fern Stiles and his two sisters,

Tammy Alford and Nancy Peninger, brother, Gary Breland, as well as his precious granddaughter, Kaleigh-Ann Breland.

David is survived by his wife Karla A. Breland, son, Jonathan David Breland, daughter, Jennifer Breland-Dysart; sister, Dejuanna Busby and husband Charles. He was also survived by the light of his life, Emily Anna Dysart and Zachery David Breland who loved and adored their Opa, a host of nieces and nephews who was loved by their “Uncle Dave”. He will also be missed by his special, Pug – Reuben.

Pallbearers honoring David will be Jack Dysart, Sr., Mark Dysart, Peter Schnell, Jack Dysart, Jr., Jared Dysart and David Aaron Carter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barksdale Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Willis Knighton North ICU Staff, as well as Dr. Zibari and Dr. Alexander.
