This still seems like a bad nightmare and I keep waiting on your call or see you walk through the front door. 
You were not only my son but a great friend. Life will never be the same without you and I pray God gives us the strength to get through this. I love you so much and am so thankful for the 32 years God allowed you to be a HUGE part of my life. RIP my baby boy! I LOVE YOU!!

I was his first love .. the first to know him , the first to feel him the first to hold him and look into his beautiful angelic face.. I told his dad when he was born with his fair skin blue eyes and white hair he looked just like an angel. He was our angel for almost 33 years .. He was our laughter our smiles our jokes. All he wanted to do was love and be loved .. He gave this evil world all he could before God called him home.  My heart will forever be broken for he took a large part of it with him when he left.. I will never be the same . I will look up to the sky’s daily for him and whisper I love u Dev. 

When I met him he was going through a rough time in his life, but he was still able to smile that great smile of his. He made me smile even when I myself was having a bad day. I am so glad that I got to meet him and to be able to call him my FRIEND. I will miss you Devin!! LOVE YOU ALWAYS MY BROTHER IN JESUS!!

I really wanted to be there, I’m sorry I couldn’t! I’ve been remembering all the times we had, I don’t recall a single bad time! We were young but we made anything fun! My sweet brother.. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have looked at this screen trying to make words. I love and miss you so much. You ARE the best brother a girl could ask for. Even through all our ups and downs it never took long for us to make up! Aren’t you glad mom and dad brought me home from hospital even though you said they could just leave me there😂 Gosh I miss you so much Dev! Thank you for everything you have done for me in the last 29 years. I hope you were looking down happy yesterday as I made sure your service screamed you and your love for LSU. I made to make sure your Celebration was you to a T. I love you so much! Not only were you one amazing protective brother but you were the BEST UNCLE D to my Pai Rae and I will forever cherish every moment and video I have taken of you two! Your little squirt Pai misses you so bad and just wants you back!! I promise I will always keep your memory alive! She carries around your “Big Sexy” and “Wolf Pack” wrestling beanie babies around everywhere now. Anything she has of you to hold onto she will. Thank you for loving her like you did!! Best Uncle D ever. Your precious Stella Boo will forever love and miss you. I promise you I will watch over her and continue to create and share memories. She loves her Daddy so much! I hope you saw that yesterday as she sat there loving on you and talking to you! You’re forever her Guardian Angel.  I wish I was calling you to complain about Nola being bad/cute and you telling me I just need to have patience and train her instead of me writing this. When you were 15, you got your very first car, a white mustang convertible with a tan roof. Me, you, and Megan went for a ride and we got stuck on the railroad tracks on Stockwell Road. When you got that car, that's when you fell in love with Mustangs. I hope you have a garage full of Mustangs in your mansion in heaven! Love you, Dev!

Tilley was a walking huge smile. He used to bully me into smiling bigger. I'm someone who doesn't smile very big but he would always make sure I knew I needed to actually smile in my pictures. He would comment on my pictures and say "you never smile, always looking mad girl SMILE!" When I would tell him "I know how to smile!" He would say "I know you do girl!" Which would make me post another picture of a bigger smile. He did it all the time. Tilley had a good heart. I'm so sorry for the loss this family and many friends are experiencing. I'm just glad we got to meet him and see the light he tried to show everyone. The greatest blessing is knowing how much he loved our God and Son of God. Until we meet again man. 

To William, Belinda, and Megan ,  Our hearts go out to you all. We are praying for comfort, peace. and healing for y’all.  Devin will be very missed. He already is. He brought our family much laughter and his loyalty as a friend to Hunter was unwavering. To Stella, Hunter loves you just like he loves your dad and if you ever need him for anything he’s just a call away.

You were my friend . After I heard I searched and searched for this picture because I knew it was the only one of us together! Such a funny, genuine, gentle person! I’m so sorry and I’ll miss you. 

Ive always known devin as tilley and to my 5 kids he was known as uncle tilley.the story of how he used to pronounce is name as donatello(from ninja turtles)will always be a memory that sticks with me and how anytime i felt down and out he had words to lift me up.im blessed to have known him and today i have a heavy heart because he was more than just my best friend,he was my brother and family.i love you bro and ill always miss u.thank you for always coming to my kids birthdays and bringing stella,you dont know how much that meant to us.

I remember the first time I saw Devin, he was picking up Megan from school. The next day I told Megan how cute I thought her brother was and called him “McLovins (Movies reference lol).” Dev and I ended up becoming friends for many years until life took us separate ways. But I will always remember his infectious smile and ability to make you feel special. The world truly lost a good soul. You will always be missed, Devin!

Devin was so full of positive energy! I remember him coming to my house as a child and my mom being like "olivia, that boy is hyper I'm going to need yall to calm down" lol. His dad took us to the movies around that same time as kids and we had so much fun playing at his house on the trampoline. He was just so full of joy. Even as we got older and grew into adults Devin remained positive and was always a goofball. He loved to compliment others happiness on Facebook and he always made you feel good about yourself. That positive and loving spirit is what I will always remember about him.

So saddened by the loss of Devin. It’s been years since we last saw or spoke to each other but I will always remember him as being kind hearted and funny. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. 

For almost 20 years, you've been my friend. We could go years without talking to each other, but then when we'd finally talk, it was like no time at all had passed. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I will moss you, always! I will cherish every memory I have of you. Thank you for being part of my life!

I first met Devin when he was just a little boy when his father came to work at Support Enforcement Services.  I watched him grow up through the years. I cannot imagine the pain his family is enduring without him here on earth. My prayers are with his precious family.  Heaven gets sweeter every day.

I went to school with Devin at BAC. He was one of the reasons I looked forward to going because he was the life of the classroom. We kept in touch over the years thru Facebook catching up here and there. I watched him become a loving father to his little girl and was so proud of him. I’ll always remember him being just that and a sweet, caring human being. He touched many lives with his smile alone and will be severely missed. RIP Devin. ❤️

I was not super close to Devin, but I would talk to him from time to time about LSU football! I had just recently talked to him about going to a game this season with my husband and I and told him he could bring Stella since we have 4 season tickets. He seemed super pumped about it and told me how excited Stella would be. I know I wasn't super close to him, but I am definitely going to miss talking to him. I am praying for all of you!! 

Devin was an awesome and loving guy. He treated me like a brother from day 1. Devin has always been kind hearted and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need!

I remember about 3 months ago me and Devin had long talks about life n he pushed me to get my CDL, and I did it!! I wanna thank you brother for all the love and also wanna thank you for being a brother to me after loosing mine. Words can’t explain how great of a guy you are!! You will be missed until we meet again bubba ❤️

Your smile and those beautiful Blue eyes are going to be missed.  You wee  so kind and true to you feeling.  You loved hard especially your family and friends. I’m lost for words right now but just know I love you Devin Tilley and I know you are no longer suffering and you are in heaven with your precious baby Kingston. I can almost bet you and Dillon Self are reunited and giving heaven some hell. Gone but never forgotten.  I love you form here to heaven and back.  And I still don’t remember whipping that behind for dunking you r   head in the pool when you weren’t supposed to be around it. Lol.

To many memories to even begin, you just snap chatted me doing your crazy peacock voice, we were the best roomates, it’s still hard to believe this is real I had many missed calls and messages when I woke up  and it hurts knowing your not here anymore  RIP good friend 

I met Devin at Fant a long time ago and the stang named Venom. Lol we have become closer over the last year or so and he's really been a great person to have in my corner. He's always smiling .. no matter what. Always kind and full of jokes. I'm thankful to have gotten to know Devin and he be apart of my life. He always was updating me on the rebuild of Venom and how much he loved that car and his daughter Stella. Seeing that smile it felt like he always brightened the room ... the day even. He has invited me to go to LSU football games and unfortunately I was never able to go, however I really wish things were different. I'm so so sorry for the loss of out dear friend Devin Tilly. My heart aches for Devin and his family and friends. It looks like he has touched so many hearts in his life time. He is loved unconditionally and will always be thought of. Here's to the good ones. Rest easy friend. 

Devin was always like a big brother to me. We first became friends when I lived in the dogwood neighborhood out in haughton growing up. We would ride bikes around the neighborhood and get crawfish down at the gas station. Then when I moved to the stockwell apartments right across the street he got his first car! And guess what it was.. a mustang! He always loved that car. I’ll never forget the time he snuck the car keys out to give me a quick ride back home. He was so scared his parents would catch him! We had so much fun at kids and he was always a older brother being 3-4 years older than me. I moved away to Denver Colorado and we went on our own paths throughout highschool and early adulthood..  I received many messages about keeping my faith in God and not doing drugs or being around bad people from Devin once I got older. And when I moved back to Louisiana he was there for me as a past friend to hang out with and get me back into the scene to make new friends around Bossier…. Because he knew everyone! And everyone knew him! He was loved by many and such a great father for his daughter. I’ve had so many positive conversations and experiences with him throughout my life that I want everyone to know…. No matter why this happened or what led up to it. Everyone needs to remember that Devin was a GOOD man with a heart made of LSU gold. And he was a hard working father that wouldn’t ever let his daughter go without love or care. Fly high Devin. We love and miss you. I’ll never forget you big brotherly love and advice you’ve given me throughout our friendship. I know you’re looking down on us... Love you big bro - Everett Harris 💜💛

Devi always had that mischievous grin. He was a sweet boy and his heart was always in the right place. He loved his mom, dad, daughter, sister and niece. He was very loving to his daughter. 

Devin was loved by so many and I am so honored to have known and grown up sharing many memories with him. He helped uplift my spirits so many times and I wish I had the chance to do the same! I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with everyone! I love you all, god rest his soul ❤️❤️

Devin will be missed. I hate that life gets busy and we didn’t get to do more stuff together. Prayers to all affected.
