Dorothy Horn

She married the love of her life, Willie D. Horn on January 11, 1958. They had 67 wonderful years of love and memories. Together they raised 7 children. Dorothy spent most of her life taking care of others, from her family, to the kids at the daycare, and the residents at the nursing home. She was a caregiver at heart. In her spare time she loved to garden and crafting.

Dorothy joins in Heaven her parents; siblings, J.W. , John B., Charles, Hubert, Marie and Evelyn.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years, Willie D. Horn; seven children, Dottie, Ronnie (Angela), Keith, Bruce, Curtis (Shuntell), Sandra (Ron) and Cynthia (Ben); sixteen grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank special nurses, Brittany, from Home Health; Mark and Charlotte, from Christus Hospice; and CNA, Debbie for their kindness and care.

Services honoring the life of Dorothy will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to service from 1pm until 2pm. Interment will immediately follow services at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
