A graveside service celebrating the life of Ethel Mae Pearson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Pastor William Valentine, of Lakeview Baptist Church, officiating. Brother Tommy Patton, of Cypress Baptist Church will be assisting. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the stateroom of Hill Crest.
Ethel was born in Doyline, LA on July 28, 1924 and passed away in Shreveport, LA on December 12, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Floy Nicholson; husband of 55 years, Giles Pearson, Jr.; sons, Marlin Pearson and Bobby Pearson and brother, A.J. Nicholson and wife Laverlyn.
Ethel is survived by daughter, Beverly Mahaffey and husband Robert; daughter in law, Connie Pearson; brother, Pierce Nicholson and wife Dot; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and loved ones.
The family would like to thank the staff at Willis Knighton Progressive Care Center in Shreveport for their loving care and comfort.
