Services to celebrate the life of Lyndia Faye Davis Bacle, 83, will be Friday, March 7, 2025, 2:00 PM, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Faye was born in Madison Parish, LA on July 21, 1941, and passed away at her home in Bossier City, LA on March 4, 2025. She was a graduate of Wiley College and had previously been employed with AT&T (Lucent Technologies, Avaya) as Quality Assurance.
Faye lived her life serving God and loving and caring for family and friends. She had a strong bond with her family and was one who laughed easily at witty jokes, and videos about everyday life. Her favorite colors were blues and greens, and her favorite songs were hymns that glorified her Lord. Faye enjoyed quilting, gardening, and reading, but loved being with friends and family, and the Tuesday gatherings the most. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Grand Ruth.
Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas Bacle, and her parents, Charlie Perry Davis and Curlee Key Davis. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Attaway and husband David, and Kevin Bacle and wife Brigit; sister, Betty Nichols; grandchildren, James E. Hendry IV and wife Jennifer, Adam Hendry and wife Elizabeth, Hope Bacle, Alex Brady, Kaylin Craig, and Brad Smith; and great-grandchildren, Riley Hendry, James E. Hendry V, RaeLynn Hendry, Cadman Hendry, S.J. Smith, Vivian Craig, Max Craig, and Wyat Craig.
Serving as pallbearers are James Hendry, Adam Hendry, Wayne Medlin, Rick Nichols, Nick Nichols, and Alex Brady.
Faye’s memory will remain in the hearts of those who love her, but more than anything else, Faye wanted to be remembered as one who loved and served the Lord, was a loving wife and mother, and a giving friend.
