Frances was born April 8, 1941, to Oren and Helen Cantley in Shreveport, LA. She was a strong Christian woman devoted to her family and her Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist bossier and the Grace Sunday school class. Frances was also a retiree of The Shreveport Times with twenty plus years of employment as Human Resources Director.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Oren Cantley, Jr.; and son, Kenneth Olds. Frances is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, Jason Olds and wife Crystal; step-children, Laura Ardoin and husband David, Michael Edwards and wife Dani; grandchildren, Nicole Freeland, Laura Edwards, Ashlyn Leitch, Landon Olds, and Brody Olds; and great-grandchildren, Stella Freeland and Hadley Freeland.
Services for Frances will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Sonny DePrang. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
