

His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a positive and thankful attitude. He fought a long and hard battle, but has left for a better place.
Gary was an intelligent man and hard worker. He was an E5 Electronic Technician in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Rota, Spain. Gary founded Digital Electronic Services, INC. on May 04, 1977. He provided Texas Instrument Mainframe Computers to an International Customer Base. Gary was also a HAM radio enthusiast. His call sign was WA5NMV which he said stood for, "whiskey after five no more vodka."
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin Honeycutt and Eugenia Clark; step-father Jack Clark; brother, James Marvin Honeycutt, II and step-brother, James Byron Clark.
Gary is survived by his wife, Tatiana Ivanovna Honeycutt; sons, James L. Honeycutt and Gary L. Honeycutt, Jr.; step-son, Anton Razepine; step-daughter, Elena Frontaura; brother, John Honeycutt and step-sister, Jayne McKnight.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in the Hill Crest Chapel from 5-7:00 pm. Service will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Hill Crest Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment will follow on the grounds of Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, Louisiana.
