Davis entered into restful peace in heaven in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 18, 2011. Davis was a very active member of First Baptist Church Haughton. Davis enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His passion was winning souls for Jesus with his ministry "Fishing for a Reason. Jesus". He proclaimed it boldly and proudly on his truck, boat, shirts, and his life. He loved serving others and volunteered with Bossier Sheriff Posse, East 80 Fire Dept, Haughton Fire Dept, and countless activities sponsored but churches in our area. He loved taking anyone fishing that would go with him and they always got the message of Jesus' love for them. Davis was a wonderful and caring husband and family man.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Fredrick Bunch, Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joy, son George Davis Bunch, Jr., daughter Morgan Bunch, both of Natchez, MS, stepson Ryan Robinson, stepdaughter, Faith Watson, Mother Helen Ratcliff, stepfather A.M.Ratcliff, brother James and twin brother Dunbar, and many other family members.
