She learned secretarial skills through correspondence courses and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement.
Grace had many talents. Among them was sewing and quilting. She made dance costumes for the little girls in our neighborhood and won blue ribbons at the county fairs for her sewing.
She enjoyed participating in clubs and activities. She usually became a leader in whatever activity she chose. She was in bowling leagues into her 80's.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Dorothy; and her grandchildren, Brian, Elizabeth, and Marcy.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Springhill Cemetery in Springhill, LA.
