He was currently a resident of Haughton, LA. For most of his career, Jim worked as an apartment complex manager. He was referred to as Fix-it Jim because he could fix just about anything. He loved fishing, hunting and working on his car for as long as his health allowed. He was a compassionate, loving and caring person.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Fetterof; and grandparents, Thelma and Charles Fetterof.
Jim is survived by his son, Jimmy Cunningham; step daughters, Christine Turner (Joseph) and Cassandra Krawczak; sisters, Sharon Kruskie and husband William and Melissa Cogley and husband Tom; niece, Annette Brands; nephews, William R. Kruskie (Kathy), Jeffery F. Kruskie (Kelly) and Andrew L. Kruskie; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Services will be held privately by the family to celebrate Jim’s life at a later date.
