TOOL, TX - Jean Emden La Fitte, 85, died peacefully on April 6, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton, LA with Ben Hebert officiating.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ruth Emden, siblings Nina Jones, C.R. Frensley, Jack Emden, Jr., Don Emden, husband C.P. La Fitte, and daughter Sharon Laird.
She is survived by her son Cliff La Fitte of Marion, Ark., and daughter Gayle Lowry of El Paso, TX, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Helen Klick and Jimmy Day of Tool, Tx. For their love and care in her time of need.
During her lifetime, she was blessed with the love of many friends in the Shreveport/ Bossier area. Over the years she had worked with many in Civilian Personnel at Barksdale Air Force Base, and Clark Air Force Base, Philippines.
