Jill K. Beshea

Jill Kennedy Beshea, 67, went to be with our Lord on Friday, January 13, 2017. After years of battling congestive heart failure, she received a heart transplant just after Christmas. She had some complications and unfortunately lost her battle. Jill was a pediatric nurse for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents R B "Tinker" Kennedy and Marjorie Patton Kennedy. Survivors include husband, Troy Beshea; son, Jason Kennedy, wife Kelly, and children Jake and Tenley; daughter, Bridget Peek, husband Shaun, and son Kash; sister, Wanda Groves and husband Jim; nephew, Derek Groves, wife Gina, and Genesis; stepchildren, Randy Beshea, Victor Beshea, and Cindy Beshea; step grandchildren, Abbey Beshea, Jake Beshea, and Victoria Beshea; cousin, Tony White and family.

The service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home with graveside following at the same location. Bro. Ben Brewster of Airline COC will be officiating. Jill was a long time member of Airline COC and loved her church family.

Pallbearers will be Randy Beshea, Chris Pierce, Kevin Hedrick, Robert Hicks, Phillip Hicks, and Johnny Johns. Honorary pallbearers will be Nana's grandchildren Jake Kennedy, and Kash Peek.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jill's granddaughter, Tenley Kennedy, who is awaiting a heart transplant in Houston, TX.
