Joedonna Bryant Webb Sr.

BOSSIER CITY LA-Memorial services for Joedonna B. Webb, Sr. will be conducted at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2 pm with Mr. Jerry Hodge and Dr. Randy Harper. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Military Honors in Haughton, LA. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, December 16, 2011 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Joe was born June 10, 1938 in Shreveport, LA. He passed away December 13, 2011 at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He retired from the Federal Government after 40 years of service including 12 years with the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Bertha Webb and his brother, Richard Webb, of Many, LA. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Webb, his son, Joedonna B. Webb, Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Benton, AR , his son, Bruce Webb, of Shreveport, LA, his daughter, Keli Webb Buckley and husband, Barry, of Benton, AR, and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Greg Buckley and his wife, Anna, Kaylon Buckley, Allison Buckley, Jennifer Buckley, Tyler Webb, and Sarah Webb. Joe was a member of University Church of Christ.

His passions were gardening, photography, and his family. He supplied vegetables for his family and neighbors from his summer garden. He loved working in his greenhouse and created registered daylilies in the names of each of his grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man always willing to share a story or lend a helping hand.

Pallbearers will be Greg Buckley, Kaylon Buckley, Tyler Webb, Rudy Francis, Barry Buckley, and James Fisher, Jr.. The family would like to thank Willis-Knighton Hospice especially Julie, Margaret, and the entire nursing staff.
