

Services celebrating the life of Johnny Marvin Frank, 83, will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton with the Barksdale Air Force Base Chaplin officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
Johnny was born to Robert Garfield and Nellie Stewart Frank on March 2, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and passed away on February 19, 2011 at Grace Home in Shreveport, surrounded by family. Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was retired from Barksdale Air Force Base where he worked for 20 years and following his retirement he worked for fifteen years with ENRON Corporation.
Johnny was preceded in death by both his parents, two brothers Herbert Frank, Elmer "Sonny" Frank and two sisters, Evelyn Noll, and Ethel Gamble. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Grete Frank and their children, Tina and James Breedlove,Tammy and Ken Nicaud, Kay and Bill Kersh, Sonja Fehsenfeld, LeeAnn and Mark Frank, Debbie and Terry Frank, and Connie and Tony Frank. He is also survived by a sister Mary Clark, nineteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Breedlove, Ken Nicaud, Mike Ricardo, W. H. Stone, Alan Bass, and Mike Sepulvado.
The family wold like to express their sincere appreciation to Drs. Diana and Kennedy Limm for many years of excellent care, and to the staff of Grace Home and their volunteers, your compassion and care will never be forgotten. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Home.
