BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for Joy Faye Bates, 86, will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with Bishop Frank Rougeau conducting the service. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Joy Faye was born August 29, 1928 in Caddo Parish Louisiana to parents Denson and Lillie Woods Huckabay and passed away gracefully at her home on November 11, 2014 in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was a loving wife mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who always had a warm heart and an even warmer smile. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Raymond L. Bates; daughter, Judy Holdsworth. She is survived by her son, Roy Bates and wife Janis, and Randy Bates; 7 grandchildren and 28 Great-grandchildren.
Honoring Joy Faye as pallbearers will be, Jesse Anderson, Terry Holdsworth, Raymond Bates, Denson Bates, Randel Leger and Ronnie Tate.
