Juanita Thomas Daniel

Juanita Thomas Daniel, affectionately known as Skeet, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on May 31, 1930, in Fairburn, Georgia, she was the daughter of Charlie Thomas and Mattie Pearl Crawford Thomas.

Skeet was married to CMSgt Ralph Daniel, who preceded her in death. She dedicated many years of her life to the medical field as a registered nurse until her retirement, after which she focused on raising her children.

She is survived by her children, Larry Daniel and Colletta Daniel-Durham, as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with her extended family.

Skeet had a passion for flower gardening, home decorating, shopping, and maintaining her physical fitness. She was an active volunteer at Barksdale Air Force Base and a cherished member of the Barksdale Chapel for over 30 years, where she held her church family in great affection.

Her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, to whom she showed immense unconditional affection.

Skeet will be remembered fondly for her dedication to her family and community.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the park.
