Karen Ruth McNeely Bowser

Bossier City, LA - Karen McNeely Bowser, a resident of Dallas, GA since 2000 and former resident of Bossier City, entered into eternal rest December 1, 2010. Karen was born on December 20, 1953 in St. Helens, England. She was employed by Rooms to go in Marietta, GA. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 7 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hill Crest Funeral Home on Hwy 80 in Haughton, LA; with interment to follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Ms. Bowser was preceeded in death by her father, Cowan W. McNeely and her sister Linda McNeely Coleman. She is survived by her mother, Freda McNeely, daughters, Kathleen Yohe and husband Mark; Sherry Durfee and husband Scott; sister Trish McNeely; grandsons Christian Bowser, William Yohe and Hayden Durfee; granddaughters Haley Henderson and Makenzie Durfee; neice Kelly Babin and husband Jason; Nephew Kurt Coleman and wife Laura; two great nephews and two great neices; long time friend Carl Spurgeon and sons Jeremy and Steven.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Coleman, Scott Durfee, Mark Yohe, Kurt Coleman and Christian Bowser.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Hwy 80 in Haughton, LA.
