

YOUNGSVILLE, LA - Services celebrating the life of Lauren Renee Stewart, 32, will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 307 Hammond St., Zwolle, LA 71486 with an opportunity to view Lauren at 9:00 until the start of the service. Father Tim Hurd will officiate. Burial will take place after the service in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Zwolle. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7 from 5:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hill Crest Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, LA 71037.
Lauren had a big heart and always thought of everyone else before she thought of herself. She was a country girl that loved camo and anything country from eating crawfish, getting together with family, mud riding, talking at bonfires and swimming with her children. She loved music but her main love was her children, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Willie Mae Stewart; maternal grandparents, James and Marie Youngblood; paternal grandparents, Willie E. and Eathel Low and a special uncle, Doyle (Buddy) Ebarb. Lauren is survived by her parents, Paul and Bonnie Stewart; spouse, Michael McClanahan; children Lainey Gail and Weston Hayes; brothers, Michael Paul Stewart and Aaron Shelby Stewart; sister, Amy Lynn Stewart, 8 nieces and nephews whom she adored and her special Godmother Donna Procell.
Pallbearers will be James Sharbono, Jamie Youngblood, Chris Ebarb, James Youngblood, Patrick Procell and Devin Howard. Honorary Pallbearer is Galan Ferguson.
The family sends a very special thank you to The Oschner Transplant Unit and the social workers of Oschner Medical Center for their tender care of Lauren.
