Linda Marie Payne

BENTON, LA – Services for Linda Marie Payne will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Girouard officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda was born in Magnolia, AR on December 19, 1950. She attended Robert E. Lee High School in 1968 in Tyler, TX. She graduated college from The University of North Texas in 1972 with a Bachelor in Marketing and received her Teaching Certificate from Centenary. Linda taught at Plantation Park Elementary from 1987 until 2010.

She was preceded in death by her father Calvin Conrad Corley and her grandparents Phillip and Marie Bossier. Linda is survived by her parents George and Rose Williams, father of her children Alan Payne, daughters Holly Payne Ludwick and her husband Andrew and Emily Payne Fonseca and her husband Terry Jr., and grandchildren Victoria Daigle, David Fonseca, Daniel Fonseca, Caleb Daigle, Trae Fonseca, and Tanner Fonseca.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Cathcart, Gary Bossier, Jr., Andrew Ludwick, Terry Fonseca, Jr., Larry Holman, Jr., and Ernest Palmisano, III. Honorary pallbearers will be George Williams, John Evans, Jr., Alan Payne and Lennie Simmons.
