Lisa Ema Ganey Cook

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lisa Ema Ganey Cook, 86, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

Lisa was born May 6, 1938, in Pforzheim, Germany and passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2025, in Shreveport, LA. Lisa was a loving wife and mother who cared for her family and home. In her younger years, she along with countless others, worked for AT&T, formerly known as Western Electric. She loved gardening, spending time with family and friends, and was an amazing cook.

Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her parents, August and Rosa Hage Ehrler, five sisters and one brother.

She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind; her loving husband of over 25 years, Audrey Bruce Cook; sons, Frank Ganey and wife Darla, Rick Ganey and wife Christi; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; step-son, Richard Cook and step-daughter, Dana Peterson with their families; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
