

Lorna Marie Ahlstrom, a beloved resident of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 47. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Lorna was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Parker, and her brother, Matthew Morrow.
Lorna is survived by her husband, Christopher Ahlstrom; sons, Jonathan Ahlstrom and Brandon Ahlstrom; sister, Crystal Thomas and husband Ken; brother, Dustin Parker and wife Amanda; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
Born on December 2, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee, Lorna later made Louisiana her home. She graduated from Airline High School and went on to dedicate more than 18 years of her career to Lowe’s as a merchandiser. Her work ethic, kindness, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike, many of whom became lifelong friends.
Lorna lived her life with love at the center of everything she did. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. She enjoyed staying active—biking, exploring the outdoors, and traveling whenever she could. She had a passion for antiquing and estate sales, always finding beauty in the stories behind treasured items. Her deep love for animals was another reflection of her gentle and compassionate nature.
Known for her positive outlook and spiritual heart, Lorna shared warmth, kindness, and encouragement with everyone she met. Her legacy is one of grace, generosity, and unwavering love.
A visitation will be held on January 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m, Officiating will be Randy Harper, Interment will take place immediately afterward in the memorial park.
Honoring Lorna as pallbearers will be Jonathan Ahlstrom, Brandon Ahlstrom, Dustin Parker, Geoffrey Ahlstrom, James Purcell, John Hernandez, Brandon Ehrman, and Jeff Voda.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical teams at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and WK Medical Center in Shreveport for their compassionate care and support.
Lorna will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
