Funeral services for Elsie Heckart will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Hill Crest Funeral Home, interment will immediately follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Heckart passed away on Mother’s Day, 2011. She was born June 14, 1924 in Prescott, AR to John William and Gladys Andrews. Elsie was a true caregiver; she was employed for 19 years at Pilgrim Manor North Nursing Home, helping others. She enjoyed being outside working in her yard. But most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Heckart was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Milton. She is survived by her son, Dale Ammons and wife Maxine of Bossier City, LA; brother, Alvin Andrews of Aurora, MO; six grandchildren, Dale Ammons, Jr., Angie Smith, Christina King, Joshua King, Tammi Bunting and Brandi Bunting; many great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
