Mary Jeane Neill

She was born on August 30, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was current resident of Bossier City, LA.

Mary had a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She was an Operating Room Nurse at Bossier Medical Center and was the Director of Surgical Services at the VA in Shreveport.

Mary loved watercolor painting and reading. She taught herself how to play the violin just by reading how to do it.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell William and Grace Elizabeth “Bette” Atkinson.

Mary is survived by, her husband, Billy Dwain Neill, Jr.; children, Billy Dwain Neill, III and David Alexander Neill; grandchildren, Sawyer Alexander Neill, Caroline Harper Neill, Taylor Jean Patterson and Michael “Mick” James Patterson.

Visitation will be held on November 22, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Hill Crest Chapel. The service will be held on November 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Hill Crest Chapel. Interment will immediately follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Officiating the service will be Nancy Wofford.
