Ginger, as she was so lovingly remembered, was born on January 6, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to William and Marjorie Crampton. Ginger was united in marriage to Lt. Col. Allen L. Sweney, USAF Ret.
Ginger was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother of three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She felt very blessed and proud to have such a wonderful family. Ginger had a passion for life and filled it with many activities. She loved bowling, fishing and was a life master bridge player. She even played a little golf early on in her adventurous life. She loved to shop and go on cruises with her daughter, Linda. Her biggest passion was being with her husband, Allen and pulling their camper to various places around the country including Galveston, TX which was probably her favorite. Ginger had a beautiful smile and a fun loving nature which was loved by all that knew her.
Ginger is survived by her husband, Allen, her son Bill and wife Kathy of Amarillo, TX; her daughter Linda Magill and husband, Bill of Pembroke Pines, FL; three grandchildren, Jacob Magill and wife Lorrie of Shreveport, LA; Tyler Hobson and husband Joshua of Tyler, TX; Adam Sweney of Houston, TX; and two precious great grandchildren, Logan and Laynie Hobson.
