BOSSIER CITY, LA – Celebration of life services for Mary Lou Webber will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wade Peddy officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at 2:00 p.m., the hour prior to the service.
Mary Lou was born July 7, 1930 to George and Tometta Gilmer. She graduated from Bossier High School in 1947. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved her church and family very much. Mary Lou volunteered her time as a Pink Lady at Bossier General for years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald Elwood Webber. Mary Lou was survived by daughter Mary Ellen Shockley of Memphis, TN, son Don D. Webber of Haughton, daughter Robin Peddy and husband Wade of Rison, AR, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darren Seifer, Tommy Gilmer, Brook Webber, Perry Smith, Charles Oates, Jacob Courtney and Ted Chapman.
