

Matthew Evans Gore was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 23, 1988 at Schumpert Hospital, room 374. He lived in Shreveport, Louisiana most of his life, resided in League City, Texas for the past 5 years. His parents were Robert Gore and Lynn Ferris and Step-Father Steve Ferris, he had two half sisters, Candy Crabtree and Brianna Gore and one step-sister Stephanie Ferris. Matthew attended Calvary Baptist Academy from K-3 thru 8th grade, where he held honor roll, perfect attendance and was involved in numerous sports, clubs, activities, etc,. His favorite past times as a child was trading his Pokemon Card collection, riding his 4-wheeler, going to the lake so he could knee board and riding his R-6 motorcycle. He attended Captain Shreve High School 9th, 10th, and then home schooled. Later moved to Pearland Texas with his father where he met his wife Crystal Kay Gore, they were married at Enchanted Gardens on December 20, 2008 and moved to League City, Texas and had a beautiful blue-eyed baby boy, Matthew Jonathan Gore on May 11, 2009. That was an emotional day for Matthew to see his son being born. Matthew's passion was his work as an Automotive Paint Technician where he was employed at Star Toyota in League City, Texas. Matthew adored his black lab named Hunter Trip Gore, which was his shadow while he enjoyed spending time with his wife Crystal and son Matthew Jonathan (pooters). Matthew's life was sadly shortened October 7, 2009 in League City, Texas and was laid to rest in Hill Crest Cemetery, in Haughton Louisiana on October 11, 2009.
Matthew Evans Gore, you are and will always be the most PRECIOUS GIFT from GOD that was given to your Dad and I. We all were and have been very blessed to share 21 years of LIFE with you. You touched so many hearts with your unique character and one of a kind personality. You will always be in our HEARTS FOREVER until we meet you in HEAVEN.
