Megan Danielle Mote

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Megan's honor on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Assembly of God Church, Haughton, LA. Pastor Andy Harris of Central Assembly of God and Pastor Stuart Freeman of University Church of Christ will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Megan was called home on Friday, July 6, 2012 after a tragic automobile accident. She was born on January 23, 1996 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Kelly Hatfield and Arlie Dennis Mote IV. Megan loved attending church at Central Assembly of God and University Church of God. She was a student at Captain Shreve High School, where she participated in volleyball and cheerleading. Megan enjoyed life to its fullest and made friends everywhere she went.

Megan was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Arlie Dennis Mote, Jr. and Michael Morales, Sr.

She is survived by her father, Arlie Dennis Mote IV; mother, Kelly Hatfield and step father John;siblings, Colby and Aaron Hatfield, Arial Kay,and Jacob Warren; grandmothers, Eloise Brinson, Tommie Lou Hatfield, Ann Brocato and Susie McKeithen, MiMi;grandfather, L.V. Waites; and aunt and uncles,Angeline and Jesse Martinez, Jr., Michael Morales, Jr. and Dusten Waites.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Martinez, Jr. Billy Walker, Shon Brocato, Arlie Dennis Mote, III, Doug McKeithen and Jesse Martinez II. The honorary pallbearers will be Dusten Waites and Mike Morales.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the friends and family that have shown such an amazing amount of love during this time. We could not have made it without each and everyone of you.
