Michael Joe Franks

Michael Joe Franks, 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born in Magnolia, Arkansas, December 6, 1955, to parents Joel Parker Franks, Sr. and Geneva Holloway Franks.

Michael was an avid hunter who enjoyed being outdoors and camping. He loved his Jeep and was a member of the MOPAR car club. “If it’s not a MOPAR, it’s no car.” Michael was also an operations manager in industrial sales and was employed with Erik’s. He was a great manager, never missing a day of work.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joel Parker Franks, Sr.; mother, Geneva Holloway Lynn; sister, Brenda Lynn; and brothers, Christopher Lynn and Joey Franks. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Kandalyn Arnold Franks; son, Michael Jacob Franks; grandson, Bentley Jacob Franks; sisters, Carolyn Reynolds and husband Bruce, and Susan Braswell and husband David; brothers, Dennis Rayburn Lynn, and Bruce Allen Lynn; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
