Michael Wayne Greene

A memorial service celebrating the life of Michael Wayne Greene will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Michael was born in Minden, LA on February 20, 1962 and passed away peacefully on December 20, 2019. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Michael was a dedicated husband and father who consistently did his best in taking care of his family and the people he loved. He liked watching sports no matter which sport, but his favorite teams were LSU and the Saints. Michael played pool in many different leagues around the Shreveport Bossier area. He was a longtime employee of Coburns Supply Company of Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, E.O. "Pete" Rogers and Eva Dee Rogers and brother, Dennis Odell Greene.

Michael is survived by wife, Susan Greene; children and grandchildren, Ashley Greene Brewer and husband Doug, Mallory Padgett, Nolan Greene, Zane Greene, Rhyan, Codie and Lukus Brewer, Tyler and Yuri Sullivan; mother, Frances Mercer; sisters, Pamela Boggs and DeAnn McNeil; brothers, James Mercer and wife Brandy and Tommy Martin and wife, Angie; in-laws, Larry and Barbara Bamberg; brother-in-law, Duane Bamberg; sister-in-law, Sharon Willis as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
