HAUGHTON, LA – Services for Nettie Gober, 91, will held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Bossier Missionary Baptist Church, 809 Hamilton Road, with Reverend Berry Joffrion officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Nettie was a lifetime member of Bossier Missionary Baptist Church and an usher there for over 44 years. She loved her church and family. Nettie liked to sew and stayed active by walking. She was a competitive fund raiser and a wonderful cook. Anyone that had the opportunity to taste her food would agree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Billie White and granddaughter Toyomi Gober. She is survived by her son Archie Gober and his wife, her daughter in law Judith Gober.
