Odus "Wayne" Lovell

Wayne made his living as an electrician at Whiting Services, but found his life in his family and the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and working in the yard and garden. He was a very giving person with a huge heart. If he knew he could help put a smile on your face or help make your life better, he would do anything to make that happen. His great smile was taken from us way too early! Wayne, you will be missed!

Preceding Wayne in death are his; son Barrett Lovell; mother Mary Shumate Lovell and father Otho Lovell; sister Shirley LaCaze and brother Michael Lovell. He is survived by his wife, Kye Lovell; daughter Sabrina Lovell; son Jonathan Tauzin; and daughter Jenifer Tauzin; grandchild Peyton Bass, grandchild Emilio Tauzin, grandchild Emerson Molina and grandchild Luke Tauzin. Also left to cherish his memory are nine sisters, one brother, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and good friends.

A life celebration for Wayne will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Highway 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71307. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, LA 71037.

Serving as pallbearers are Peyton Bass, Clint Rains, Jason Breen, John Breen, Chris Longoria, and Gary Kendrick. Herman Lovell, Chuch Sojka, Gerald Wallace, Bernie Weaver, Kevin Weaver and Aubrey Guidry will serve as honorary pallbearers for Monday's service.
