

Patricia A. Harvill Patton (Nanny) went to be with her Lord and Savior May 2, 2012 at 3:34 p.m. She was born September 1, 1936 in Springfield, IL to Lester L. Harvill and Ellen L. (Heavner) Harvill. She moved to Minden, La in 1951 with her family from Springfield. She was a member of Family Life Church in Bossier City, La where she was a Prayer Warrior for many. She was a also a member of the American Center for Law and Justice, a volunteer for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Lung Association, and the Diabetic Society. She left her employment with Bossier Medical Center in 1997 due to ill health where she had worked as a Support Tech. She has lived in the Haughton/Bossier City area since 1953.
Preceding her in death are two sisters, Dorothy Washam and Helen Kohorst, both of Springfield, IL and four brothers, Bill Harvill Sr., Lloyd Harvill Jr., both of Springfield, IL, Thomas Harvill of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Ronald Harvill of Bossier City, La. She leaves three children, daughters, Ellen Middleton and husband Mike of Shreveport, La; Cathy Ortiz and husband Willie of Haughton, La; and son, William Pearson Jr. and wife Amanda of Haughton, La., two sisters Jean Speigel and husband Art of Springfield, Il. and Della Holley of Bossier City, La., twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Pat loved to cook for her family and friends and loved telling people about the Lord. Visitation will be at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home of Haughton, LA; from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday May 5, 2012. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 6, 2012,at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
