Richard Lee Morrison

Services celebrating the life of Richard Morrison are scheduled for 4 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Rev. Karl Klaus will serve as officiant. The family invites friends to a visitation prior to the service from 3 PM to 4 PM.

Guy Lee and Ottamease Ashley Morrison welcomed Richard Lee into this world on December 22, 1941 in Shreveport, LA. Richard proudly served his country in the Navy for three years and graduated from Louisiana Tech with a business administration degree. His hobbies included camping, fishing, watching NASCAR, and tinkering with cars- especially his 1965, candy apple red, fastback Mustang. Richard passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 76.

Richard is survived by the love of his life, his wife Marion Streeter Morrison; son, Kevin Reed (Vicki); special great granddaughter, Kailea (the apple of his eye who lived with him since she was nine months old); sister, Juanita Morrison Goss; sister-in-law Ginger Streeter; Nieces, Melissa Klein and Lee Jennings; grandchildren, Tiffany, Michael, Ashlea; great grandchildren, Christopher, Hollis, Peyton and Kingston; his fur babies, Lulu, Abby and Daisy; and other family and dear friends.
