

For over 52 years he was a dedicated barber. Through the decades he became more than just a barber to many. He was a familiar face, a trusted listener, and a cornerstone of the community. His chair was a place of conversation, laughter, and connection. He carried the discipline and honor of his time as a Marine throughout his life, always standing firm in his values and commitments to others.
Outside of work he found joy in his hobbies and the simple pleasures of life, but nothing meant more to him than family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Kathleen Craft (Gran), his father Walter Odell Craft, and his mother Nellie Faye Craft. He is survived by his children, Duwayne and Robinann Smith, Troy and Staci Craft, Kasey and Josh Phelps, Kelly and Collin Rockett; grandchildren, Tyler Craft, Ashley, Meagan, Zachary, Christina, Austin, Isaac, Tyler Caton, Sarah, Micaela, Kyson, Kyleigh, and many great grandchildren.
Services will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to service.
Pallbearers will be Isaac Briones, Collin Rockett, Josh Phelps, Kyson Rockett, Mark Popejoy, and Duwayne Smith.
