He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Tabitha Baca; his cherished Oma, Else McCauley; his sister Lauren Bankhead and husband Cody Bankhead, and their children Will Bruce, Tidas Junel, Jace Brantley, and Kinsleigh Ann; his sister Kayla Alex and husband Amos Alex, and their children Adrian Jay, Alyssa Jade, and Brooklyn Grace; his brother Jonathan McWilliams and his daughters Gracelyn Marie and Raelynn Faith; his Aunt Nancy McCauley and cousin Christopher Robin Lee McKinney; his Uncle Michael McCauley and wife Julie, and their children Morgan Bradley, Leah Danielle, and Kyle Jacob; his Uncle Jason Patterson; a small army of friends who became family; and a cat named Peep.
Ronnie was an accomplished guitar player and a true artist at heart. He found joy and purpose in music, cooking, drawing, bodybuilding, and volunteer service. His creativity and dedication were evident in everything he touched. Ronnie was a fierce advocate for his family, his friends, animals, his community, human rights, and the planet. He lived with conviction and compassion.
Those who loved Ronnie describe him as kind, loving, selfless, passionate, adventurous, talented, and diligent. He had a contagious smile, a huge heart, and a personality larger than life. Ronnie would quite literally give the shirt off his back to a stranger. His generosity knew no limits.
While his family and friends are heartbroken by this unimaginable loss, they know Ronnie would not want them to remain in sorrow. He would want them to treasure the memories they shared, to hold one another close, and to move forward living their very best lives in his honor.
A funeral service and memorial butterfly release in honor of Ronnie will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, at 2:00 PM.
The family is especially thankful to all who loved Ronnie and to the local community who have overwhelmingly reached out with prayers, condolences, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
