Sally was born on January 26, 1951, in Shreveport at Christus Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the proud parents Paul and Martha Brackney. Interestingly, Sally went on to become an excellent nurse, spending over 25 years, at that same Christus Schumpert Hospital, working several different floors over her tenure. She loved being a nurse! Sally also greatly enjoyed traveling and playing Sudoku. Sally was an animal lover. Another great joy during the span of her life was all of her faithful furry companions, her dachshunds.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ted Warren for his many years of care, Willis Knighton Pierremont nursing staff of the ER and ICU, and the staff at Riverview Nursing Home for their care. We also want to give an extra special thank you, to Makayla from Riverview. Makayla, your love and companionship to our mother was exactly what she needed and we appreciate everything you did for her.
Preceding her in death were: husband of over 25 years, Tump Rosalles; son, Ian Foster; father, Paul Jennings Brackney; mother, Martha George Brackney; brother, Dave Allen Brackney; and several of her daucshunds, Elvis, Pricilla, Snookie, and Harley.
Left to cherish her memory are: daughter, Amanda Foster Knotts and spouse David; sons, William Jennings Foster, and Thomas Randall Rosalles; grandson, Isaac Hunter Knotts; grandson, Grant Fisher Knotts; sister, Sue Fetters and spouse Buck; niece, Lisa Fetters; nephew, Scott Fetters; along with Gracie, her most recent beloved daucshund.
In lieu of flowers, please make donation to any Animal Charity of donor’s Choice.
