Sarah Eyrl Weeks

Sarah Eyrl Weeks, 86, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, April 16th 2012. Services will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 20th at 2 p.m. Bro. Gevan Spinney will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Friday, April 20th, immediately following the service.

Sarah was born in Choctaw County, Mississippi on July 17th, 1925 to Charlotte Vie and William Nathan Mitchell. She worked in the church nursery at Central Assembly of God in Haughton for over 20 years and “raised” many children. Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, ceramics, gardening, working crossword puzzles, and most of all, spoiling her many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Weeks; son, Randy Weeks; and daughter, Lynette Dager.

Left to cherish special memories are daughters Linda Moses (Jim), Leigh Fontana (Fred), and Lori Worley (Wayne); grandchildren Debra , Kyle Novikoff; Lynette Dager, Richard Dager (Shannon), Stephen Worley (Angie), Chance Weeks (Beth), Christian Weeks (Melody), Ashley Novikoff (Jason), Amy Moses (Matt), Jonathan Fontana, Gabrielle Fontana and Corbin Fontana; great grandchildren, Lane, Matthew, Noah, Dani, Roxy, Jimmie; great-great grandchildren Gio, Selina and Serenity; daughter in law, Donnis Weeks; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Lane Weeks, Corbin Fontana, Christian Weeks, Chance Weeks, Fred Fontana, and Jim Day. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Weeks, Noah Weeks, Jonathan Fontana.
