Haughton, LA - Theresa “T.C.” Ray, born of Lena Cascio and Frank Scarpinato on February 18, 1935 in Opelousas, Louisiana. Theresa Ray passed away on December 9th, 2016 at the age of 81. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 at Hill Crest Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones Tuesday, December 13th from 1:30 p.m. until the service time at 3:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Father Karl Daigle.
Mrs. Ray was a graduate of Opelousas High and married Edward Ray “Johnny” on June 1, 1953. She spent her life being a Mother and Grand Mother. She is affiliated with Christ the King Catholic Church.
She was survived by her children, Ken Ray, Julie Hinkie, Jeannie Durham and husband Ricky, Geradette Williams and husband Marshall; grandchildren, Jennifer Hinkie, Tom Hinkie and wife April, Tina McHugh, Kendra Durham and partner Lisa Phipps, Sabrina Durham, Crystal Battlefield and husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Cayden & Bryson Hinkie, Carson & Emily McHugh, Lacey, Gage and Lainey Battlefield, Laikyn Durham.
