
Thomas W. Cole, born on July 8, 1956, passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 69. Residing in Bossier City, Louisiana, Thomas was a hard-working, selfless, loyal, and kind-hearted individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, he was the youngest of seven children. His early life was marked by a strong sense of family and community.
Throughout his life, Tony, as he was affectionately known, dedicated himself to the food service industry. His career included positions at the NW Louisiana War Veterans Home, Firehouse Subs, and LA Downs. His commitment to his work was admired by colleagues and friends alike.
On September 1, 1978, Tony married Donna Hendrix in Princeton, Louisiana. Together, they shared a loving life and were blessed with a son, Dustin Thomas Cole. Tony was a great provider for his family, always ensuring their well-being and happiness.
Tony had a passion for horse races and enjoyed spending time playing cards and various games with friends and family. He found joy in driving and taking leisurely rides, whether out of town or around the local area.
His community involvement was evident through his participation in the Senior Olympics with the Bossier Council on Aging, where he made many cherished connections.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Cole Cosby and Patricia "Pat" Gertrude Cole.
Tony is survived by his wife, Donna Cole; son, Dustin Cole; grandson, William Andrew Cole; sister, Mary Frances "Sally" Woods; and brother, Billy Cole.
A graveside service will be held in honor of Tony at Hill Crest Memorial Park, located at 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana, 71037. The service will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 11:00 am.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Willis Knighton and their GIS unit, as well as the Bossier City Fire Dept., for their kindness and support during this difficult time, and all the prayers from friends.
