Thomas Wayne Hatfield

BOSSIER CITY, LA- Services for Thomas W. Hatfield, 76 will be Monday March 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ken Collier officiating. Interment will follow at the North Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. The family will be receiving visitors from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday March 25, 2012 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Thomas was born on November 2, 1935, in Homer Louisiana, and passed away on March 22, 2012 in Bossier City Louisiana. He was Deputy Sheriff for Caddo Parish and belonged to the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Louisiana Peace Officers Association. Thomas was also a mason for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood working.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Pierson Hatfield and Annie Hatfield, brother, Jack Hatfield, and sister, Mary Ann Winn.

He is survived by his wife, Magdeline H. Hatfield, sons, Steven Hatfield, Jeffery Hatfield and wife Sunny, granddaughter, Megan Hatfield, brother, Jimmy Hatfield, sister, Betty Jo Stiles, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny, David & Gary Dale Stiles, Wayne & Nicholas Hatfield and Terry Mouser.
