Wayne loved life, fought hard to be able to have as many precious moments with his family as possible. We find peace and comfort in knowing he didn’t lose his battle; he won! He has been welcomed into the arms of his Saviour and the place He has prepared for him. He will live in our hearts forever.
Wayne is preceded in death by his brother, Victor F. Pizzolato, Jr.; parents, Victor F. Pizzolato, Sr. and Betty Jean (Prins) Pizzolato; father, Clifford Pierce; by his maternal grandparents, Hank Prins and Lucille Prins; and granddaughter, Melissa Taylor, (Babydoll).
Survivors include his sister, Patricia Bartley (Trish) and husband, Tim Bartley; brother, Mark Pizzolato; niece, Regina Carroll and husband, George Carroll; nephew, Christopher Pizzolato and wife Heather; nephew, Justin Castie; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces whom he loved dearly.
Wayne truly loved life and simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, watching WWE, eating Klondike bars, driving that Dodge to Texas, to visit family and spending time with special great niece, Ava, “Baby”.
The family would like to thank all of the many doctors, nurses, and medical personnel, too numerous to name, who took care of Wayne. A special thank you to both Carol and Theresa, both truly angels here to help with true care and compassion. It is very important to NOT forget how special their roles were. The time and energy they both put in was such a blessing. Thank you sincerely Carol and Teresa!
We were so blessed to have had Wayne be a part of our lives.
