Bill was born February 12, 1949. He was a graduate of McNeil High School. He attended Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. He was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Bill loved to hunt with his son Brian, work in the garden, but his favorite hobby was jewelry. He enjoyed collecting all types of gem stones and designing rings, necklaces, ear rings, or what ever he could imagine. His knowledge of the stones was amazing. He worked at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant for several years and than became the Purchasing Inventory Control Manager for Quaker State. This position moved him and his family to Denton, Texas in 1995. He held that position until he became disabled. He enjoyed traveling as long as a beach was near. Several family vacations were spent on the beaches of Mexico, Florida, Jamaica and the Caymans. The ocean was his serenity. We cannot forget his dogs, Beau, Bailey and Boots. They were his constant companions. The family had a tradition with the names, the whole family started with “B” Bill, Becky, Brian, Beau, Bailey and Boots.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kaur, Advance Rehab Home Health, and especially Michelle with Ardent Hospice. Their care, compassion and services were beyond words. May God bless each and every one of you.
