Wilmer "W.H." Hurbert Moses

He was born on January 03, 1936 in DeQuincy, LA.

Wilmer was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force and was an accomplished marksman with Wells Fargo until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved Classic Westerns and was passionate about auto detailing of all his personal vehicles. Wilmer also loved to watch his grandsons play football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Eula Goodeaux Moses and his wife of 50 years, Jimmie Louise Price Moses.

Wilmer is survived by: Sister-in-Law, Susan Price Shirley; 3 children, Theresa Miller (Chris) of Elm Grove, LA., Randy Moses of Haughton, LA., and Yvette Chapman (Marshall) of Grapevine, TX.; 6 grandchildren, Keith Bodie (Ashley), Brittany Johnson (Damon), Randi Moses Craig, Andrew Chapman (Madison), Thomas Chapman and Tyler Miller; 9 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Tyra, Brooklyn and Joshua Johnson, Kailey and Jaxson Bodie, Kanon and Walker Craig, Christian and Hailee Miller; niece, Shandalin Shirley Mulig, of Austin, TX; nephew, Shane Shirley, of Ragley, LA; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm. in the Stateroom at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm. It will be graveside at DeRidder Beauregard

Pallbearers: Keith Bodie, Chris Miller, Damon Johnson, Marshall, Andrew and Thomas Chapman and Chris Johnson.
