Andres G. Garza

Andres G. Garza, 75, of Hemet, California passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, January 9th. Born on August 23, 1945 in Matamoros Tamualipas, Mexico. Preceded by his parents Santos and Andrea Garza. He was the eldest of 11 children. He is followed by his brothers and sisters, Antonio Garza, Armando Garza, Alfredo Garza, Adela Garza Cantu, Andrea Garza Pina, Santos Garza Jr, Lupe Garza, Nancy Garza Gudde, Leticia Garza Avila and Adam Garza. At age 22 he married and met the love of his life Clementina Garza. He migrated following work, lived in Washington for 15 years where he worked at Lumbermill. He later moved back to California where he worked many years as a forman for a golf course. He retired in 2003 to enjoy spending time with family. He enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards, and dancing, all which he passed down to his children. Andres was a very family oriented and his greatest joy was making people laugh. He is survived by his loving wife Clementina Garza and their five children. Leticia Garza-Rivera, Lorena (Tony) Garza Alacla, Yessenia (Guillermo) Garza Barajas, Andres (Michelle) Garza Jr. , and Raquel (Albert) Garza Alvarado, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Andres was an amazing man, husband, father, grandparent, and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. Family will be holding private services due to pandemic.
