

Anna M. Anderson passed away July 22, 2019, surrounded by family, at her residence in Hemet, California. She was born on July 29, 1922 in Roseau, Minnesota to parents Ben and Olga Arneson. Anna was the oldest of twelve children, who spent her formative years helping her mother care for her younger siblings. Following high school, she went on to become a teacher, spending close to nine years as an educator in her home state of Minnesota. July 30, 1949, Anna married Gerhard Anderson. They were together in marriage for sixty-five years, until Gerhard’s passing on May 12, 2015. Over the course of their time together, they raised two daughters, Alice and Gloria.
Anna was a loving, gentle but hard working woman of faith, who greatly loved her family and friends. When she wasn’t helping others, Anna enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo, cooking, and crafts such as knitting, crocheting, and working with a plastic canvas.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Alice Flood and Gloria Anderson; her two sisters, Alma Sundin and Nancy Ryan; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Anna Anderson was a kind, tender soul who will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have been a part of her life.
