Anne Louise West, age 90, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016, at San Jacinto Healthcare in Hemet, CA. Louise was born October 11, 1925 in St. Marys, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Jacob Cox and the late Nina (Coss) Cox.
Louise was a receptionist in the medical profession for 10 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hemet. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband Clarence R. West Jr. She is survived by her daughter Marcia West of Upland, CA., and many nieces and nephews.
Louise enjoyed singing and sang in church choirs in both First Presbyterian in Hemet, and Claremont Presbyterian Church in Claremont, CA. She was also a longtime member of Happy Harmoneers singing group in Hemet. She also enjoyed being a volunteer at Hemet Memorial Hospital where she worked the front desk for many years. She enjoyed cooking and watching the Dodgers on TV.
