

Anthony Jim Costa, 92, passed away on, Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, California. Anthony was born on Friday, August 20, 1926, in Watts, California, to his late parents Anthony Costa and Lydia (Weeks) Costa.
At the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Army where he bravely served in World War II from 1944 to 1946. On November 18, 1944, Anthony married the love of his life, Geraldine, who he spent 62 amazing years with while raising three wonderful children until her unfortunate passing on December 26, 2006. Anthony was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family, camping in his motor home and bowling with friends. He was also a huge fan of the Angels, Rams and whatever teams his grandchildren and great grandchildren were a part of. Everyone knew him as a supportive, giving, loving, caring and generous man.
He is survived by his children Toni (Ernie) Golphenee, Dan (Wendy Lee) Costa and Sharon (Mike) Snapp; by his two brothers Don and Bob Costa; eight beautiful grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He also leaves his wife of six years, Dolores Conlon, with whom he was able to enjoy traveling and bowling. Anthony was a gentle man who everyone loved and adored. He will definitely be missed.
