

Born Tuesday, March 18, 1930 in Los Angeles, California, he was the son of the late Joseph Polo and the late Helen (Noran) Snow. He was the husband of Eva (Kester) Polo, whom he was married to for nearly 55 years.
Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before retiring as a Lieutenant Commander after 25 years of service. The last ship he was stationed on was the USS Midway that is now the USS Midway Museum, which is a historical naval aircraft carrier museum located in downtown San Diego, California. He was also a graduate of the U.S. Navy Destroyer School.
He was extremely creative, artistic and good with his hands. He loved woodworking and refinishing and duplicating antiques. Arthur was also able to turn his creative designs into gorgeous stained glass pieces and jewelry.
Arthur enjoyed painting and even had one of his pictures displayed at the U.S. Naval Training Center in San Diego. He was also a left-hander and very proud of that.
Surviving is wife, Eva Louise Polo, daughter, Teresa Valentic, son, Anthony Polo, daughter Elizabeth Beckel, daughter Mariana Birchell, son, Arthur Polo, daughter, Jacqueline Sundberg and daughter, Juliana Vallier; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
