

Asension Edward Dominguez, 86 of Perris, California passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in Perris, California surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Thursday, May 26, 1927 in Globe, Arizona to the late Alberto Dominguez and the late Juana Salcedo Dominguez. Family meant the world to Asension. He was the loving husband to the late Hortencia T. Dominguez. They had a love and bond that could not easily be broken, sharing 67 years together as husband and wife. Asension was a proud WWII Army Veteran. He was also president and secretary of the Local 274 Butcher's Union. Asension's pastimes included, golfing, traveling to the casino on occasion, watching his favorite baseball team, the Arizona Diamondbacks, listening to country music and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Asension gave so much of himself to anyone. He was the rock of the family and their "Superman".
He will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
He is survived by his sons, Fred Dominguez, Rick Dominguez, Manuel Dominguez, and Albert Dominguez; daughters, Jenny Ybarra, Bertha Parra, MaryAnn Messier, Vivian Dominguez, Doreen Hurtado and Denise Eisenhower; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
