

Barbara Gay Cutter, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Yorba Linda, California. She was born July 27th, 1934 in Santa Monica, California to Homer and Edna Curfman. As a child, Barbara loved horses and her favorite movie National Velvet with Elizabeth Taylor. As a young adult, Barbara attended Santa Monica Community college. Barbara was a flight attendant for TWA, though she spent most of her career days as an Administrative Assistant in the insurance and banking industries. Barbara met the love of her life, Bennett Cutter, on a blind date on New Year’s Eve and was married two years later. She was the proud mother of a son and daughter which grew into a family of 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Barbara loved to travel and visited many countries in Europe with her husband and enjoyed cruises. They also spent time in their RV relaxing by Lake Hemet. She enjoyed playing the slot machines and later became an avid Bingo player in her senior living home, and she would win frequently! Barbara had a sweet tooth and loved chocolate, especially See's Candies. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Chuck. She is survived by her children, Diana Sinz and Franklin Cutter, her grandchildren, Phillip Orem, Michelle Saenz, Melissa Cunningham, Justin Cutter, Joshua DeGeorge, Joey Sinz, her great-grandchildren, Tulie Saenz, Lily Orem, Judah Orem, Maddy Cutter and Zachary Cutter and three step great-grandchildren James, Emily and Lindsey Cunningham. A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday August 30, 2019 at 1:30 PM.
